About Coach Amanda Johnson-

Amanda has played volleyball for the past 15 years on the high school, club, intramural and adult levels. She currently plays in outdoor coed sand leagues (double champs spring 2010). This is her fourth year as a coach for Southern Elite. Amanda has alot of experience working with youth, she has been in the social work field for over 7 years and is currently working as a Foster Care Case Manager in Jackson county. Her knowledge of volleyball, love of the game and experience with youth should make for another successful year. Coach Amanda coached our 12's team for the 2008-2009 season leading them to 1 gold/1 silver medal. For the 2009-2010 season Amanda helped lead our 13-1 team to 5 gold/1 silver victories. Last year Amanda took her team to the National Qualifier in Dallas as took 2nd place out of 40 teams in the Gold Select Division. They also finished in the silver bracket at Regionals and Presidents day. A very successful year for our 14 Gold team. Amanda takes a very active role in the girls' games and lives. Amanda will be coaching our 15-GOLD team for the 2011-2012 season. Again this year Amanda will be assisting me as the club's assistant director, helping with HEAT home tournaments, events and teams.
