Playing Experience:
· 2005- Present: HOA Womens A Division ( Heart and Regionals Champion 2005), HOA Coed Grass Leagues, Competitive Womens & Coed Leagues (Roeland Park), Competitive Sand Teams (Volleyball Beach and Centerline)
· 2001-2005: William Jewell College- 4 year starter, Outside Hitter, numerous all tournament teams and HAAC team selections. Scholar Athlete.
· 1997-2001: Glendale High School (Springfield MO) Middle Hitter, numerous All-Conference/All-District team awards. Played RS for King Snake VBC and Springfield Juniors under Lori Endicott.
Coaching Experience:
· 1998-2001: YMCA youth volleyball coach (Springfield MO), coached 6, 7, & 8th graders. Won citywide play off championship every year. Private lessons given to middle schoolers.

1. Semi-private training and lessons during fall for SEVBC
2. SEVBC 12-1 Silver Head Coach 14th of 114 teams. 85 game victories and 4 gold medals
3. VBprep private instructor intermediate defense and beginner hitting spring
· 2010-2011
1. SEVBC 13-1 Gold Head Coach 21st of 41 teams. 61 game victories and 2 gold medals.

Education Background:
· 2007-2009: University of Missouri Kansas City. M.S. Organic Chemistry
· 2005-2007: University of Kansas Pursued Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, transferred to UMKC
· 2001-2005: Willliam Jewell College B.A. Chemistry minor Math, Pre-Engineering Emphasis
Julia has been playing volleyball since 8th grade and played Varsity all four years in high school . She has traveled as far as Hawaii to play competitive volleyball. Coach Julz also has experience playing in college when she attended William Woods Universtiy. She then transfered to Truman State where she played on their comp team finishing 17th in the country. She still enjoys playing competitive indoor and outdoor volleyball. She is excited to join Southern Elite this year. She loves the sport and wants to share that passion with our youth players. She has played most every position but enjoys defensive specialist/libero the most. This should be a great pairing with Coach Danielle who is a strong offensive player. She looks forward to teaching the girls how to work together as a team and better ALL their skills as well-rounded players. Julia has worked with other clubs and schools in the area and is ready to work with our 15-1 force national team with Coach Danielle. She also wants to start working with our older girls to counsel them in finding colleges and universties to get recruited. Welcome to the HEAT Coach Julz!!!!
