About Coach Eric- 2nd year
Coach Eric has been playing volleyball for over 20 years. He played on the NE Missouri State University club team 95-96. He has also played competitive HOA adult leagues. In 2000 his doubles team won the outdoor regionals in "A" division. Eric takes an active role in Southern Elite and was even the chili cookoff winner of 2011. Last year Eric assisted on our 11s team and helped the girls with all their scorekeeping and reffing training. He enjoyed watching the girls grow last year in their skills and knowledge of the game and looks forward to participate in their futher growth. We are very happy to help Coach Eric to the team! Go HEAT!

About Coach Glen- 1st year
Glen has been playing volleyball for almost 25 years participating in both USVBA competitive leagues and adult comp leagues.  He has played with players from rec level all the way up to gold medalists.  He assisted the New London CT women's team at Mitchell College and loves to teach his skills to youth players.  He has learned so much about the sport over his 25 years he can't wait to pay it forward to our newest generation.  He will be joining the heat to help coach our 12 selelct team for the 2011-2012 season.  Welcome Welcome!!!

About Coach Sydney- 1st year

Sydney started playing volleyball in 7th grade and has found herself to always be a trainer of the sport.   In high school she played on Varsity for three years and played on National level club teams throughout high school.  After High School she went onto MidAmerica Nazarene University to play as setter/libero on scholarship.  Syd has been training for quite some time and has found a love for instructional teaching.  She has previously coached teams in 6th and 7th grade and looks forward to working with our 12s this year.  She has a lot of experience and patiences to teach the form and mechanics needed to build the youth volleyball player.  Welcome to the team!!!
